The Practice
As of August 1st 2012, Dr. Blase Pignotti welcomes his daughter, Dr. Laura Pignotti, to his OB/GYN practice. Together, we offer care across the full scope of women’s health needs.
We cater to routine gynecological and prenatal care, minimally invasive surgeries, cosmetic procedures, menopausal health concerns and major surgeries. Both doctors welcome new patients, reserve time for emergency appointments and see patients during morning, evening and weekend hours.
Dr. Blase Pignotti has earned a reputation as one of the finest OB/GYNs in St. Louis by treating his patients with warmth and an abundance of expert care. His daughter, Laura, has been fast to follow suit. Now that she has been out in practice for many years, her patient following has grown and flourished through her hard work and excellent patient care. As a two-physician practice, the Drs. For more than 30 years, Dr. Blase Pignotti has served as one of the leading obstetrician/gynecologists in the St. Louis. area.
He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and renowned for the breadth of his expertise, stretching from primary care matters to some of the most difficult surgical procedures, including robotics. Crucially, Dr. Pignotti has been an independent physician, which has allowed him to maintain complete control over the access he has to patients and the care he can provide for them. Dr. Pignotti takes great pride in being there for his patients whether that means delivering their babies, performing routine check-ups, handling emergency procedures or providing cosmetic services. Now with his daughter, they will be even more available to you, our patients.
A native of Chicago, Dr. Pignotti has five children and a wonderful wife.

Having graduated from Ob-Gyn residency in Chicago more than 6 years ago, Dr. Laura Pignotti has loved being back in her hometown of St. Louis, doing what she loves best, caring for women.
Being trained in one of the largest cities in the country, Dr. Laura Pignotti had the opportunity to work with and learn from many renowned specialists in the field as well as multiple general Ob-Gyns. This experience has given her a large breadth of knowledge to manage a wide variety of women's issues from teen and adolescent education to pregnancy to menopause as well as perform multiple surgeries in a minimally invasive manner, including robotics. Since being out of residency, she has proved to excel in all matters of women's health, from gynecological problems to both high and low risk pregnancies and difficult surgical cases. While ever keeping her pleasant, calm demeanor, Dr. Laura Pignotti also prides herself in being readily available for all of her patient's needs.

Dr. Blase Pignotti is known throughout St. Louis as one of the most dedicated and accessible physicians and handles close to 100 percent of his patients' deliveries. With Laura joining the practice, you may still choose to see one or both of us as you desire.

Cosmetic Services - Smart Lipo
Dr. Blase Pignotti has performed liposuction procedures for more than 20 years. He's been particularly impressed with recent breakthroughs in technology that have turned liposuction into a less traumatic, less expensive cosmetic option. As a result, Dr. Pignotti now offers the Smart Lipo procedure at his office.

What Insurance Do You Accept?
We accept insurance from 650 health plans, including most of the major insurance providers such as Alliance BCBS of Missouri, Mercy Health Plans, UHC, GHP, Medicare, Healthlink, UHC Metrahealth, Cigna, Anthem and Aetna.
What Are Your Hours?
Our office is open from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. on weekdays with extended hours until 6 p.m. on Tuesday. We're also open from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Saturday. Dr. Pignotti leaves slots open for new patients and emergency appointments.
Does A Nurse Or Doctor See The Patients?
Both Drs. Blase and Laura Pignotti see all of their patients individually.
How Far In Advance Do I Need To Schedule An Appointment?
In many cases, we can see a patient on the same day they call for an appointment.
